The Wild Fig restaurant has a wonderfully relaxed ambience with simple decor, cape reed ceilings and French doors opening onto a beautiful garden setting. Despite being only 10 minutes from town, you'll feel as if you're in a country homestead.
The restaurant offers classic bistro fare with a contemporary spin, elegantly plated with a focus on fresh ingredients, unfussy preparation and natural flavours. Regulars return for signature dishes like the shredded lamd phyllo parcel and roast duck in Van der Hum sauce. Its a winning formula based on good seasonal menus, showcasing local fine fish, beef, lamb, venison and poultry.
Open for lunch and dinner, there is also an adjoining bar, Annies Arms which has been newly renovated and overflows onto the garden area.
