Lion’s Head is a beautiful site to fly from, offering a superb panorama of Clifton, Camps Bay, the Atlantic Ocean and the Twelve Apostles. We launch from a smooth sloping runway and land on the grass field in front of La Med Restaurant.
At Signal Hill a gentle slope drops away beneath your feet. Beyond the strip of residences, all of Table Bay is laid out before you. The flying here is usually smooth and peaceful, what pilots term 'soaring'. The panoramic view is priceless - you can see Robben Island, the Waterfront, Table Mountain and the city.
You will be transferred to the base of Table Mountain/Lions Head/Signal Hill and given full instruction on your tandem paraglide.
The paraglide will give you full views of the picturesque Atlantic Seaboard, Table Mountain and Table Bay.
This is an xtremely peaceful way of flying with just the sea gulls as your guests.
Hermanus and Franschoek paragliding
