Pile-Inn Bed and Breakfast Southern Drakensberg is probably the oldest house in Underberg and offers all the charm and hospitality guests would expect from a larger establishment.Pile-Inn offers five cosy and comfortable en-suite bedrooms. Two of these rooms are perfect for families, and one of the double bedrooms is perfectly positioned on the ground floor for disabled guests.
Guests can relax on the lovely patio with a sundowner, while watching the sun birds take their last drink. In winter when the Underberg is transformed into a winter wonderland, the log fire is lit in the guest lounge, making your stay that much more cosy and this the perfect place for swopping stories of your holidays with other guests. The lounge also has a TV with DStv.
Underberg is a small village with golfing, hiking, horse rides and river activities on offer and it can be arrange before your arrival. Guests can also do some birdwatching or go hiking in the area.
A trip to Underberg would not be complete without a day trip to Lesotho, with the essential Sani Pass in your pocket, and enjoying lunch in the highest pub in southern Africa. Pile-Inn would happily book this for you. Underberg also offers guests the beautiful Kenmo Lake, where you can go for a stroll through the shady trees with nothing to worry about, other than hoping that your return drinks are cold.
