Description
Thaba Nkwe, which means mountain of the leopard, is a private game farm with a wide variety of wildlife. The game farm comprises of 300 hectares of bushveld with beautiful 'koppies', hillocks, splendid plant life and hundreds of tree species. Game on the farm include leopard, impala, kudu, wildebeest, zebra, baboons, monkeys, warthog, eland, nag apies, squirrels and a vast array of bird species.The lodge provides a B&B rate with rooms under magnificent shade trees, where squirrels and other animals are to be seen. Accommodation includes Wooden Cabins with private braai/barbecue facilities, Self-catering Chalets containing en-suite bathrooms, and powered Campsites. The Wooden Cabins share a very modern ablution amenity situated near the swimming pool.
The leopard-theme restaurant is the best in the vicinity and offers the tastiest dishes in the bushveld. Please note that the restaurant is closed on Sundays. The bar is fully licensed and can also be utilized for private functions, weddings and conferences. Guests may relax on the raised wooden deck overlooking the garden and pool. Braai facilities are provided at the swimming pool.

Wood Cabins (7)
These units sleep only two persons maximum each and comprise three with double beds and four with twin beds. One is a family unit which comprises two separate entrances with twin and double beds. Restaurant facilities are available for meals except on a Sundays. Shared ablutions, a swimming pool and barbecue facilities area available.

Self-catering Chalets (5)
Five chalets are self-catering accommodation. These units sleep three to four persons maximum, depending on the unit. They comprise single or bunk beds. They are ideal for families wanting to self cater. Barbecue facilities and use of communal pool and restaurant, which is closed on Sundays, is available to guests.
