Marula Lodge is a modern-african styled Guesthouse with a friendly atmosphere, situated in the picturesque town of Swellendam. The Guesthouse is within walking distance of various fine restaurants offering a wide variety of cuisine. Amenities and a variety of shops are also within walking distance. We offer comfortable accommodation, a sparkling swimming pool with stunning mountain views and serve a sumptuous breakfast on the garden terrace. Stay a while - you may not be able to take in all that Swellendam and its beautiful surrounding areas can offer in merely one day. The area offers many activities and excursions such as beautiful mountain trails, horse riding, whale watching, wine tasting and many more. It can be used as the central point to visit surrounding areas, each one unique in its own right. We will gladly help you organise your tour or you are more than welcome to join us on one of our organised day trips which may include wine tasting, riverside picnics, boat trips, river crossing by hand drawn ferry or a trip to a natural cave at the sea.Request A Quote
