Description
Welcome to Babette's Guest House. A unique, stylish Provencal style home with garden cottages in a famous historic street of Swellendam, a place where you find true South African hospitality, and an excellent standard of quality and comfort.The furnishing, art decorations and the lovely old wooden beams and doors, give a special, warm atmosphere to the Guest House. There is satellite TV and a library. You can also spend the lazy sunny afternoons in the lush garden with enclosed swimming pool and relaxing patio area.
There are three stylish garden cottages with private patio, and one honeymoon room. One of the garden cottages has self-catering facilities. Babette’s rooms have comfortable sitting area with fan and heater, bathroom with shower or shower and bath, hairdryer, bar fridge, tea-and coffee tray.
We are within walking distance from Babette’s Guest House; you will find several excellent restaurants to spoil yourself with a perfect lunch or dinner. Lovely cool cottage in corner of garden, with ornamental vine on patio for shade. Decorated in blues and pinks. Listen to the water feature and relax or just laze at the pool. This cottage has twin beds.

This is my largest cottage, with twin beds, small sleeper couch, small table with 2 chairs and kitchenette, for semi self-catering. Lovely shady patio with ornamental vine. Bath and separate shower.
