Description
The Elephant Lake Inn is located on the shores of the St Lucia estuary, surrounded by Isimangaliso Wetland Park, South Africa’s first World Heritage Site.The Inn has two levels and boasts 34 modern, en-suite and air-conditioned rooms. All rooms are equipped with flat screen TVs and selected DSTV channels, tea and coffee-making facilities, electronic wall safes, hair dryers and full-range bathroom amenities. The ground level has 16 rooms, all with private patios leading onto a sparkling pool, indigenous garden and breakfast lapa restaurant. The upper level has 18 rooms overlooking the pool and indigenous garden. Individual braais are available to guests for private use.
With the Inn's ideal location, guests have a vast range of activities to choose from, all which could be booked and arranged by the Inn. The open-air 4x4 safaris, arranged by Elephant Lake Safaris, to the nearby Hluhluwe/Umfolozi Game Reserve come tailor-made, with an experienced guide that will give tours to the nearby Veyane cultural village. The quaint shops in the town of St Lucia are great or travel slightly further afield to watch the crocodiles and birds.
Elephant Lake Safaris also offer shuttle services locally in and around the town of St Lucia, as well as to nearby attractions. Airport transfers are also provided to and from Richards Bay Airport, Mkuze Airport and King Shaka International Airport.
Guests can also enjoy a day on the unspoilt beaches, swim in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, go deep sea fishing, kayaking, catch a boat cruise or just simply stroll through the town exploring all the interesting shops, restaurants, and arts and crafts on offer.Request A Quote

This Double Room has an en-suite bathrooms with a shower only. The room is also air-conditioned and equipped with tea and coffee facilities, a hair dryer and an electronic wall safe. There is a TV with DStv also available.

The standard twin rooms are en-suite with showers only and separate toilets. TVs with DStv is available for guests entertainment and the rooms are air-conditioned. Tea and coffee facilities as well as hair dryers and electronic wall safes are in the rooms.
