Hidden in 600 acres of forest, fynbos and vineyards in the foothills of the Hottentots Holland Nature Reserve, our cosy mountain retreat is the perfect place to unwind or use as a base from which to explore the Cape.The self-catering lodges and en-suite B&B rooms all have stunning views across False Bay and Cape Point. Situated in a secure country estate, we’re only 10 minutes from the beach, 20 minutes from Stellenbosch, 35 minutes from Cape Town International Airport, and 50 minutes from Cape Town city centre.
The main lodge has been designed with the style-conscious guest in mind, and our philosophy while renovating the lodge was to keep it simple, modern, and stylish while retaining the warmth and character of a solid log cabin. The lodge now boasts four luxury en-suite rooms and one luxury suite which come with a hearty cooked or continental breakfast.

Self catering lodge - Phezulu Lodge (1)
Hide yourself away from the world in one of our exclusive solid log cabins. The 3 bedroom lodge - sleeps 6, has a fully equipped kitchen (with oven, microwave & fridge/freezer), dinner area, lounge with TV & fireplace, 2 bathrooms and braai area in your very own private garden. There’s a large balcony from which you can enjoy the same panoramic views of False Bay & the Hottentots Holland Mountains as the Main Lodge. All linen & towels are supplied & the chalets are fully serviced daily.

Hide yourself away from the world in one of our exclusive solid log cabins. The 3 bedroom lodge - sleeps 6, has a fully equipped kitchen (with oven, microwave & fridge/freezer), breakfast bar, lounge with TV & fireplace, 3 bathrooms and braai area in your very own private garden. There’s a large balcony from which you can enjoy the same panoramic views of False Bay & the Hottentots Holland Mountains as the Main Lodge. The luxury double rooms have extra long or standard queen sized beds, each with it’s own en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. All rooms have under floor heating in bathroom, heated towel rail, robes, slippers, bath and shower amenities. Each room has its own private entrance, patio, satellite TV (DStv bouquette), DVD & CD player, access to a comprehensive DVD library, ceiling fans, panel heaters and electric blankets, hair dryer, tea and coffee making facilities, mini bar, private room safe, international plug adaptors, free wireless internet connectivity and access to the swimming pool, BBQ and lapa area. The lounge features a private safe, minibar, selected DStv, DVD and CD player, access to a comprehensive DVD library, underfloor heating, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Both rooms have access onto a private balcony with stunning views over False Bay and Cape Point.
