Description
Deruxa Cottages are situated on a 21-hectare farm that was acquired by the Moolman family as the ideal way to introduce their children to the outdoors. They subsequently moved there for a few years to enhance their quality of living and since then, the family has moved back to the city and the facilities have expanded.The property is located a mere 40 km north of Pretoria, 45-minutes' drive from the eastern and northern Pretoria regions. The historical town of Cullinan provides many attractions and restaurants and is only 20 km east of the farm.
The farm has been game fenced, with a few species of game introduced. An open-air lapa, conference facilities and kitchen, bar and ablution facilities have been added to the property, as well as three free-standing cottages, while the old farmhouse was refurbished as a self-catering unit for family and weekend breaks. Deruxa Cottages offers a variety of rooms, ranging from self-catering in the old farmhouse to fully catered cottage accommodation.

Cottage (3)
The three small cottages were built and completed in 2010 and are located in close proximity to the lounge, conference room and kitchen, where meals are served. The stand-alone cottages each feature an en-suite bathroom and a small private patio with a beautiful view of the African bush. Features include a fireplace, tea and coffee-making facilities, microwave oven, bar fridge, and satellite TV and each cottage offers two three-quarter beds with 100% white cotton percale linen. Bath towels, hairdryers, gowns and slippers are also provided. These units are normally occupied by catered guests, but arrangements can be made for self-catering facilities as well. There is also the option of dinner, bed and breakfast, self-catering, or bed and breakfast.

Old Farm House (1)
The Old Farm House is a self-catering unit that was refurbished in 2008. The rustic exterior has been retained but the interior has been upgraded as a modern facility. The unit offers a lounge with satellite TV, dining room, large fully equipped kitchen, and outside patio. It also features a pool table, pizza oven, lapa with barbecue, and a swimming pool. The Farm House comprises three bedrooms, each with 100% white cotton percale linen. The main bed room is en-suite while the other two bedrooms share a single bathroom. Bath towels, hairdryers, gowns and slippers are all provided. There is also the option of dinner, bed and breakfast, self-catering, or bed and breakfast.
