White Elephant Bush Camp is available as a private camp for exclusive hire. Tranquil views of the Lebombo Mountains across the waters of Lake Jozini, magical evening skies, a variety of game and fishing activities and total privacy will ensure that your stay at Bush Camp is a truly special, exclusive experience. Situated in the beautiful Pongola Game Reserve, this unique lodge can now be exclusively hired for a totally private bush experience. Bush Camp, with its seven spacious, en-suite, thatched chalets (including a family unit that sleeps four), enormous palapa (thatched living and dining area), open-plan kitchen and poolside bar, provides a beautiful ‘laid-back’ bush setting; perfect for private gatherings or getaways for family and friends. Venture into the wilderness with a field guide on bush walks, game drives, boat cruises or cast the water for tiger fish. White Elephant Bush Camp is an ideal escape from the busy hurried world for families and friends. With a personal field guide and camp attendant on hand, and the entire camp for your sole use, you get to arrange your bush itinerary to cater for your exclusive needs.Bush Camp can accommodate up to 16 guests within the following; Chalet 1: en suite bedroom “Honeymoon suite” (A ball’ n claw bath has been placed under an old Marula tree some distance into the bush from the Honeymoon suite. Hot and cold water is on tap and the bath has been screened by a woven-stick “wall” (in traditional Zulu style) to ensure total privacy.) Chalet 2-4; twin beds, en suite shower. Chalet 5-6; twin beds, en-suite shower and bath. Chalet 7; family unit, en-suite shower. Twin beds in main room, two single beds in children's adjoining room.
Extras include a cook at R150 per day (advance notification essential). Guide and vehicle is R 100 per person (minimum fee R600 per vehicle). Guide and boat R150 per person (minimum fee R800 per boat). Guided walks at R100 pp (minimum of two guests per guided walk). Canoeing is R150 per person (a maximum three canoes. No children canoeing or walking under the age of 12).
Please note: Tariff for entire camp per night is R3,500. Please see our child policy. More than eight people will result in R400 per person per night. Rate includes accommodation, daily housekeeping services and VAT. Rate excludes meals, beverages, telephone and fax, laundry service, personal purchases, all activities, additional activities, transfers to and from the camp, and R20 (R50 after hours 18h00-6h00), gate entrance fee (per vehicle) is payable at the gate.Request A Quote

Umkhaya Cottage (1)
UmKhaya is a private self-contained thatched cottage, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open-plan kitchen and lounge, as well as a large verandah. It is within short walking distance of White Elephant Bush Camp. The cottage can be booked on its own or as part of Bush Camp if guest group is greater than 16.
