Amakhosi Safari Lodge is ideally situated in the heart of Northern Zululand, in KwaZulu-Natal. The lodge is easily accessible by way of air charter or road. It is a 4.5 hour drive from Johannesburg and 3.5 hours from Durban, making Amakhosi Lodge a central point that is also uniquely situated within 2.5 hours from St Lucia, Sodwana, Richard's Bay and Swaziland.Amakhosi offers an abundance of prime Big 5 game viewing, as well as over 15 species of antelope, hippo, crocodile, over 400 bird species and so much more. River Lodges - King (6)
These lodges boast a separate bathroom with a bath made for two, and a toilet. There is a separate shower with basin, as well as a second separate toilet. In additon there is a lounge area and a wooden deck overlooking the Mkuze River. All River Lodges have a fold-out couch located in the lounge area, which can be made up as a comfortable double bed should children wish to share with their parents. A camping cot is also available for younger children. There is air-conditioning, a mini-bar, snacks, a hairdryer, tea and coffee facilities, a telephone, complimentary laundry service, a bathrobe, and bathroom amenities.
