The area offers a rich tapestry of never-ending wilderness, emerald forests and crystal clear waters.Guests can enjoy the splendid balcony views and witness the Knysna loerie as it displays its brilliant colours in flight. You will be able to hear the lulling sound of waves breaking onto the distant shore, where miles of pristine beaches stretch as far as the eye can see.
When Governor Joachim van Plettenberg arrived in 1778, he was so taken by the natural beauty of the bay that he named it after himself. Plettenberg Bay, as it later becomes known, embraces one of the most glorious sweeps of coastal scenery in South Africa. The Seagull’s Room is a double bedroom on the second level of house. It offers an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower, a dressing table, cupboards, bedside tables and a sliding door onto a balcony. There are lovely views. The Black Oyster Catcher is a double bedroom which is also on the second level of the house. It comprises an en-suite bathroom with a bath. The Balcony Room has a single bed and curtains which separate the room from the upper lounge area. It is ideal for a child. There is a sliding door leading onto a balcony which overlooks the lagoon, sea and mountains. The Kelp Room is a twin bedroom on the first level of the house. It offers a TV, hairdryer and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. There is a wendy house attached to the property which has two double bunk beds perfect for kids. The guest house has three balcony patios with tables and chairs, loungers, umbrellas and barbecue areas. The downstairs lounge leads into the dining room, which is open-plan with the kitchen. The kitchen has a scullery, laundry and a pantry. The upstairs lounge area offers a TV with DStv decoder, a Hi-Fi and a video machine. Guests are required to bring their own smart card. All of this comes with a beautiful garden housing tall trees.
