We are situated 15 minutes from Knysna and 10 minutes from Plettenberg Bay.Our country retreat is located in the heart of the Garden Route and within close proximity to all of the many tourist attractions in the Garden Route area. It lies on 12 hectares of land, part of which is taken up by a large indigenous forest with a stream and fynbos. The property has lawns and gardens with seven dams, a large year-round heated swimming pool, a forest walk and a large variety of bird life which will keep any enthusiast content. Room Types
Birdsong House (1)
Birdsong is the original farmhouse for sole occupancy. It is set in established gardens with a majestic forest outlook. There are five bedrooms and three bathrooms in total. One of the bathrooms are en-suite and includes a bath. The fully fitted kitchen provides all crockery, cutlery, pots, a gas oven, a fridge and freezer, a microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine, iron and ironing board. Linen, towels and toiletries are provided. The living room has DStv, an open fireplace, books and board games. There is a large, partially covered terrace with a built-in braai and room heaters are fitted.

Sunbird Cottage (1)
This bright and cosy brick cottage is nestled in its own private garden and patio with built-in braai facility which overlooks the swimming pool. There is a separate bedroom with a queen-sized bed leading to the en-suite shower room. The lounge and dining area has a double sleeper couch, DStv, a DVD player, books and board games. The adjacent kitchen offers a gas oven, a fridge and freezer, a microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery, pots, glasses, iron and ironing board. Linen, towels and toiletries are provided and room heaters have been fitted.

Gazania Garden Room (1)
This is a large, open-plan, self-catering room with a Mexican pine queen-sized bed and an en-suite shower room. Facilities include DStv, a counter top oven with integrated hotplate, a fridge, microwave, kettle, crockery, glasses, pots, cutlery and a toaster. Linen, towels and toiletries are provided. There is a wooden deck with a built-in braai and room heaters have been fitted.

Lavender Garden Room (1)
This is a smaller budget self-catering room with two single beds and an en-suite shower room. There is no TV. Facilities include a microwave, counter top oven and separate hotplate, a fridge, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glasses. Linen, towels and toiletries are provided and there is a room heater. Outside offers a wooden deck and an additional side patio sitting area with a built-in braai.

Valley View B&B Room (1)
A modern, comfortable room with queen sized bed (extra single bed can be supplied if required) and en-suite shower room/toilet, sofa, fridge, coffee and tea making facilities (there is no tv). Linen, towels and toiletries provided. Room heater. It has its own private entrance from the terrace sitting area overlooking the dams, gardens and majestic forest with a brick built braai for which crockery etc can be provided. Guests welcome to use the large on-site swimming pool.

Haven Cottage (1)
This is a quaint brick and timber cottage accessed by way of steps above or a grassy slope with steps from below. The fully fitted kitchen provides crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, a microwave, a gas oven, a fridge and freezer, a kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board. The ground floor bedroom has a queen-sized bed and it is adjacent to the lounge and dining area. There is DStv, a double sleeper couch and a short staircase leading to the upstairs bedroom with twin beds and a balcony. There is a ground floor shower room. Linen, towels and toiletries are provided and outside offers a large wooden deck sitting area with a built-in braai and great views over the gardens, dams and forest.
