Description
5th House is a privately owned family holiday house located in Plettenberg Bay, South Africa. It is perfectly situated in a very sought-after location in the heart of historical Plettenberg Bay and was the fifth house to be built in the town. The house was built by the current owner's grandfather and features half a metre stone walls. Guests from all over the world have been delighted with their stay at this peaceful haven on the Garden Route.Our rooms are comfortably equipped with quality, extra-length beds and superb furnishings. Each room is fitted with an overhead fan and also has a hairdryer and electronic safe. The house's charming dining room and enclosed verandah allow guests to view the whales and dolphins playing in the bay, and guests may enjoy breakfast in the dining room or on the open deck. Free tea and coffee-making is provided, at your own discretion. We also have a fridge facility should you wish to chill your favourite bottle of wine, and an honesty bar with a range of local beer and wines is available.
The enclosed verandah and lounge area offers one of the best views in town. Our comfortable sofas are ideal for you to laze around, read your book and watch the whales frolicking in the waves from June to September, and to top it all, hundreds of dolphins in their playground all year round. If you are looking for a cooler place to be, yet still want to smell the fresh sea breeze, our sheltered patio is just the place to be, while our deck offers eight sun-loungers with comfortable cushions and a table with seating for six guests.
Other features include daily room cleaning and fresh towel replacement, excursion advice and restaurant bookings, free Internet service, and an outdoor shower to wash the sand off your feet before entering the house. Lagoon Room (1)
The Lagoon Room contains a king-size bed with a private bathroom and shower. The beds can convert to twin beds, if needed.

The Look-out Room contains a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. This room has a lovely view of Look-out Rocks and Hobie Beach, and also features a private sun deck with a great view of the ocean.
