This 2000 hectare bio-diversified farm is privately owned and nestled between the majestic Swartberg and Outeniqua Mountains on the banks of the Olifants river bed. Located on one of the world’s 17 hot spots with three overlapping flower zones, only seven kilometers from Oudtshoorn on the R328 (road to Mossel Bay) opposite Safari Ostrich Farm.The colonial style main lodge has lush gardens and open verandas leading to 16 stylish fully equipped air-conditioned rooms. A short drive away, lies four rustic waterfront cabins; perfect for a romantic getaway. Inventive and delicious traditional cooking with a Karoo twist. Waterfront Cabins (4)
Each private, waterfront cabin offers two bedrooms, a bathroom shower only, kitchenette, lounge with a hearty inside fireplace and a large deck overlooking the picturesque view of the Swartberg and Outeniqua Mountains. A perfect setting for bird lovers 162 bird species. Five minutes drive from the main house. No television or safe in cabins. Please note, this is a malaria free area and the water level may drop during dry season. Bird life is alive at sunrise light sleepers please be warned.

De Zeekoe's superior rooms all have large bedrooms with full en-suite bathrooms and open-air showers. These rooms also offer guests majestic views of the riverbed and mountain ranges. All superior suites are disabled friendly, with outside showers easy accessible. Meticulous attention was given to even the smallest of details from the ostrich cushion feathers, Persian carpets and soft lighting to the sandstone tiles in the quaint bathrooms.
