Description
Aloe Manor is situated in the little country town of Parys which lies on the southern banks of the Vaal River. It is approximately an hour’s drive from Johannesburg. What makes Parys an interesting place to visit is that it is situated within the Vredefort Dome area - the place of the oldest and largest meteorite impact site in the world.The Aloe Manor country-style house has three bedrooms with one en-suite bathroom and one shared bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a small dining table, and a lounge with a TV with M-Net and local channels. The Aloe Cottage has an open-plan fully equipped kitchen, a sitting area with two three-quarter beds and a TV with M-Net and local channels. There is a full bathroom, a beautiful garden, a small paved courtyard and an outdoor table set under a lovey tree.
There are some lovely hiking trails in and around the town and up in the surrounding countryside. The town is scattered with art, antique and coffee shops and you can do river rafting, abseiling and 4x4 routes as part of the lineup of activities available.
