Gewels Guest House is a 1917 Cape Dutch-style building located in the CBD of Mossel Bay, within walking distance from shops, the beach, restaurants, the Dias Museum and the harbour. This fully equipped, self-catering house combines Old World charm with comfortable rooms and fantastic views; it is the ultimate destination for relaxation.

Enjoy the thundering waves crashing on the beach and breathtaking sunrises from the comfort of your room. The house comprises three beautifully decorated bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and beautiful sea- and mountain views. Whale- and dolphin watching can be done while having breakfast in the dining room or in the privacy of your own room.

Because of the mild coastal climate of this region, it is the ideal habitat for more than 280 bird species. A safe swimming beach only 200 m from our guest house offers hours of fun in the sun. The more adventurous can enjoy diving amongst the magnificent reefs or shipwrecks along the coastline.
