Welcome to Bushwise Safaris. Situated on the banks of the Crocodile River, overlooking the Kruger National Park, Bushwise Safari Lodge combines the real Kruger Safari experience with luxurious accommodation boasting a unique ambiance true to the safari adventure you are seeking. Watch the Kruger National Park and the Crocodile River where a variety of wildlife often drink at the water’s edge at your leisure from the comfort of your vantage point on the upper deck, bar area or swimming pool. Become part of the African night, and hear the roar of lions, the call of hyenas and the grunting of hippos coming from the dark.

From our Safari Lodge base, we offer our guests the thrill of personalized safari excursions into Kruger in our open safari vehicle to seek out the Big Five and experience all the wonders of this unique Eco-system. The South Eastern part of Kruger where we operate is well known for its superb game viewing, with frequent sightings of lion and leopard.

We offer a variety of safari activities as well as excursions to suit every taste, timetable, and pocket - from walks in the Kruger Park with an armed guide, half day safaris, night safaris, bird watching walks and tiger fishing on the Komati River, to excursions to places of interest in the area as well as the neighboring states of Mozambique and Swaziland. Our option of an all-inclusive rate brings the luxuries of the Bushwise Safari Lodge as well as all the safaris and excursions within the reach of everybody.

More info about our lodge: The lodge is a double storey building, located under a cool thatch roof. Only five elegantly furnished, bathroom en-suite guests rooms, to keep it small and personal. Each bedroom has mosquito screening, ceiling fans and air-conditioning.

Spectacular views over the Crocodile River into the Kruger Park from our big open balcony with bar and swimming pool on top deck. If you prefer a little more privacy, our two upper storey bedrooms each have their own private balcony with the same view as our communal rendezvous balcony.

Guests may book for Dinner, accommodation and Breakfast only, or an All Inclusive option. The rate for the all inclusive package is R2035 per person per night sharing, and includes dinner accommodation, breakfast, transfers to and from the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) and one activity per day, such as full and half day safaris into the Kruger National Park, a sunset drive in the Kruger, a morning walk in the Kruger with an armed guide, a visit to a local Swazi cultural village, horse riding, an elephant experience, tiger fishing and bird watching along the Crocodile River. There is also a three night/four day Special available, and the entire lodge can also be booked for the private use of eight to ten persons, with discounted prices on request. Each bedroom is elegantly furnished and air-conditioned, with a private bathroom and mosquito screening, automatic mosquito repellent and/or hand sprays. Two of the upper deck bedrooms open onto private balconies overlooking the Crocodile River and Kruger National Park. Lower double bedrooms have large sliding glass doors that open out onto the terrace, providing a wonderful and scenic bush experience. Coffee and tea trays provided upon request. Our all-inclusive rates include dinner accommodation and breakfast.
