Lokovhela Mountain Lodge is situated on top of the Soutpansberg Mountains on the Morning Sun Nature Reserve which is a Natural Heritage Site. There are crystal clear mountain streams, waterfalls, indigenous forests and spectacular scenery.

Warm days allow for walking and picnics or just to relax in the tranquility of the lodge next to our swimming pool. For the cooler evenings and when the mountain mist comes in, you can sink into a sofa in front of a wood fire.

The lodge is ideally situated to explore the area as the northern Kruger National Park, the Mapungubwe World Heritage Site and Venda, which is full of scared sites, are all in striking distance. A one-day Venda culture or Venda arts and crafts tour can be organised, which are fascinating and well worth the experience.
