Description
Sorabi Rock Lodge is an unspoiled bushveld treasure in the heart of the Lowveld at the foot of the Drakensberg escarpment, in Limpopo Province between Hoedspruit and Phalaborwa. The architecture of this Lodge envelopes the natural rock on the game farm with spectacular results.Each room is tastefully decorated with rich earthy tones echoing the rock theme. En-suite facilities and air-conditioning comfort will spoil you. Self-catering chalets are available. Guests are invited to explore the game farm with the game drive vehicle and quad bikes that will bring out all the wonders of the veld from birds to insects and the ever wandering planes of games i.e. giraffe, wildebeest, eland, warthog etc. Abseiling is available on the game farm for the more adventurous customer. Hot and Cold stone therapy with massages is available on request. Sorabi Rock Lodge is centrally situated to many of the “The Valley of the Olifant’s spectacular scenery and “Big 5” game viewing areas. The world-renowned Kruger National Park is only 55 km away and a two-day trip can be arranged with one nights stay in the Park. Daytrips can be arranged to the following major attractions on request, Panoramic rout which includes God’s Window and the Potholes, Cheetah breeding project, Moholoholo wildlife rehabilitation centre for birds of prey, The Shangaan cultural village, Jessica the tamed hippo and the Crocodile project with crocodile feeding. White water rafting is available on arrangement at the Blyde River. Boat Trips for the more concerned customer is available at the Blyde dam.
