Description
The first thing that strikes you when you get to Nwanakalile is the view over the riverine forests of the Sabana River to the hills beyond. The second thing is the units.Our units are spacious, light and cool. The reaction from walking into one of our luxury self-catering units is, 'Oh wow, I could live here'. The décor is tastefully understated and each unit has its own kitchenette that is so well equipped you could produce gourmet meals should you so wish. Our living areas have cozy couches, flat screen TVs and DStv.
The king-size beds are extra length and fitted with crispy white percale cotton linen. They can be configured as twin beds for two adults sharing. Three of our units have sleeper couches which means that a family of three or four can share and not feel cramped. Each unit has its own entrance, deck and braai area.
If you do not feel like cooking, we have great eating places close by and your hosts, Andrew and Auriol, are on hand to make recommendations.
You are in the middle of everything - adventuring next door, panoramic trips to God's Window, Pilgrim's Rest and Graskop. Elephant rides, sky trailing and scenic flights are all available close by. The Kruger National Park is only 22 km away. The bird life is awesome and then there are the cries of the bush baby, a Nwanakalile, that can, on occasion, be seen in the canopy around the units.

This bed-sit type unit is huge and luxurious and can accommodate a family of four or two adults sharing. In addition to the deck looking out over the Sabana Valley and there is a door to the back garden and braai area. There is a king-size bed plus a sleeper couch, a dining area, and a separate kitchen. There is a separate bathroom with shower, basin and toilet.

Unit 6: Premier Suite (1)
This is our Premier Unit and it is perfect for the couple looking for a romantic getaway or for two couples looking for something special. The bedroom has an extra length king size bed and the room has an outdoor feel to it with views on three sides. The living and kitchen area is perfectly appointed with a full kitchen, sleeper couch, flat screen TV and DSTV. As in all our other units the beds have percale cotton white sheets and tasteful decor. The bathroom is en-suite to the main bedroom, but can be accessed from the living area as well. A double shower and slipper bath add to the romantic feel of this unit. This is the only unit with its own private garden and braai area as well as its own plunge pool.

Unit 7: The Cottage (1)
This detached cottage has its own private garden and braai area and has a lovely rustic feel to it. The bedroom has an extra length king size bed and is huge. The living area has a sleeper couch, flat screen TV and DSTV. As in all our other units the beds have percale cotton white sheets and tasteful decor. The bathroom is en-suite to the main bedroom. A shower and bath make it perfect for a family of four.

This lovely en-suite room is attached to the main house where your hosts, and owners Andrew and Auriol live with their two dogs and with one cat with attitude. It has its own entrance and is perfect for an overnight traveller or a couple who intend being out and about all day. The room is equipped with a flat screen TV, full DSTV, bar fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave oven. It is also equipped with cutlery and crockery so it makes an ideal “mini” self-catering option. There is a queen size bed with percale cotton sheets and the en-suite bathroom has a shower. There is a wide veranda where you can sit, relax and take in the garden and enjoy the bird-life

Couples Apartments (2)
We have two full-size apartments perfect for a couple or two singles sharing. These are situated in the converted farm house. They are spacious, fully equipped for self catering and have everything you need for a home-away-from-home. You will love the king-size extra-length beds fitted with cool percale cotton. Or we can convert it into two single beds. The apartments have bathrooms with showers, toilets and basins.

Family Apartments (4)
We have four spacious and airy Family Apartments. Two of the apartments have separate bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and double sleeper couches in the living areas. Two apartments are very spacious bed-sitters with double sleeper couches in the living-bedroom areas. The bathrooms have showers, basins and toilets. You will love the luxury of the king-size extra-length beds and the percale cotton bedding. We allow a maximum of two children per apartment, although we sometimes allow a third little one in your own travel cot. The kitchens are fully kitted for self catering. The apartments have fans and heaters. Apartment 7, The Cottage, is detached from the main farm house and has its own patio garden - ideal for the longer stay.

Premier Suite (1)
The bedroom has an extra-length king-size bed with percale cotton bedding. The room has an outdoor feel to it with great views on three sides. The living and kitchen area is perfectly appointed with a full kitchen and s double sleeper couch. The bathroom is en-suite to the main bedroom, but can be accessed from the living area as well. A double shower and slipper bath adds to the romantic feel of this apartment. This is the only apartment with a private heated plunge pool in a lovely garden and a braai area.
