Description
Privately situated self-catering thatched chalet, with wooden decked private patio overlooking a dam which attracts local birds, and resident impalas and Vervet monkeys.The chalet sleeps six guests, offering two double bedrooms and a loft area which sleeps a further two guests as well as a private cosy balcony ideal for sunset viewing. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a bath, while the second bathroom has a shower.
The open-plan kitchen, dining room, and lounge area is ideal for a relaxed ambience. The fully-equipped kitchen is complete with fridge/freezer, stove and microwave, crockery, cutlery, and small appliances to give you that home away from home feeling.
Other features include DStv, air-conditioned bedrooms and ceiling fans in all sleeping areas and lounge, patio furniture, large built-in barbecue, and covered carport. Linen, bedding and towels provided, and a daily cleaning service is available included in the rate. The resort is boomed off and offers 24-hour security.
Kindly note that this chalet is a non-smoking unit and we appreciate your co-operation.
For guests that prefer to stay with half or full board, there is the option of going to the resort restaurant that is beautifully located by the main pool and overlooking the Sabie River that is a mere 100 meters away. Chalet 233 is nestled between large indigenous trees and a small stream which is guaranteed to create an atmosphere of peace and relaxation. This chalet also has its own detached Lapa area with extra braai facilities ensuring that you enjoy the outdoors irrespective of the weather. Two covered parking bays are available for the guests occupying this unit. Bathing facilities include two bathrooms (one en-suite) with showers only. Our chalets are duplex units and the sleeping area is sub-divided into three areas: On the first floor is the main bedroom which has a double bed, a second room which has two single beds and on the second floor a private loft area with a further two single beds plus a bunk bed suitable for children under the age of 12 only. Our chalets sleep strictly a max of 6 adults and two children under the age of 12.

Chalet 234 overlooks a small dam which is guaranteed to attract local birds, resident impala and of course the curious Vervet Monkeys, making early morning sunrises on the balcony or late afternoon sunsets on the deck something that you will rush back to your chalet for. Bathing facilities include two bathrooms (one en-suite) one with a shower and the other with a bath. A covered parking bay plus extra common property parking is available for guests occupying this chalet. Chalet 229 is our newest acquisition that has recently been re-thatched and refurbished. It has a private viewing deck with built-in braai facilities and a private deck for outdoor entertaining that will encourage many evenings of appreciating our outdoor bushveld which is so unique to Africa. This is the only unit with a third bathroom, containing only a shower, which is ideal for families that prefer a bit more independence. This unit has an open-plan kitchen and lounge. There are two bedrooms and a loft area. Each unit sleeps a max of 6 adults plus 2 children under the age of 12.
