Hazyview Country Cottages welcomes you.Offering you rustic, affordable accommodation. Only 15 km from Kruger National park. New upcoming holiday and break away country place. Peaceful, private, safe Haven. Country at its best where friends family couples and groups can relax and enjoy whatever excitements, adventures and things to do.
I used to be a very productive Tobacco Barn but since my previous owners stopped cultivating Tobacco, I became very neglected, standing like a useless white Elephant statue. I became very worried and thought my new owners were going to demolish me, but I was in for a great surprise. So will you also be when you arrive. Now, after I had a hell of a face lift, I am very proud and thankful to say, I am now called The Smart Old Barn.
As you enter the gate you will see massive big trees in front of me with lovely a huge green lawn and of course our new, spectacular lovely natural looking swimming pool. The surrounding garden is also very naturally decorated with various colours of lovely Frange Panje Fruit trees and other.
The interior done by Ronelle, the boss wife, I am proud to say and confirmed by many satisfied guests from all over the world is real very artistic, rustic, and out of Africa. Eish, indeed a real blessing.
You can pick and choose amongst the following self catering and well equipped cottages each with own small garden.
Three bedroom cottage, with private swimming pool nice big veranda and braai area. 2.5 bathrooms dinning room kitchen lounge. Sleep 6 to 8 guests. Private, ideal for groups family etc. 2 Bedrooms Duplex cottage, with 2 bathrooms (one en suite) sleep 5 to 6 guests. Spacious open plan kitchen lounge dinning room with nice veranda and under cover braai.
1 Bedroom cottage sleep 2 to 4 guests. Open plan kitchen lounge dinning room with nice veranda and own Braai area. Open plan cottage, ideal for 2 guests, however has a double sleeper couch in the lounge area for additional guests.
Of course it is not only about sleeping within me but also what else am I offering. Swimming in our wonderful natural looking swimming pool is very refreshing and guest are swimming until late night. In our Entertainment hall guests can play pool darts and games.
As the property borders on the Sand River guests can walk down to the river (400m) for much bird watching. But the cherry on the cake is our so called lovers Rock alongside our natural stream. This is where the "old has-beens" can go and sit and enjoy a sun downer, thinking about those were the days my friend. Also a great romantic place for the young once and dreamers. From lovers rock we will shortly be starting our jungle trail alongside the natural stream which will be very fascinating. Then we have our jungle shower which is a must for everyone after a day of relaxing or travelling. Quad biking 1 hour drive at R250 per person.Request A Quote

This is our private guest rondawel and does not form part of the main lodge. It is centrally situated in our large garden, next to the house, about 70 meters from the lodge. Pensioners' Haven also has its own private braai facilities and is ideal for pensioners or small families.
