Overlooking the Kruger Park Imagine waking up to the call of the fish eagle, as it swoops over the silver waters of the Crocodile River. Imagine tracking the slow walk of an elephant while enjoying your first cup of coffee in the sheltered shade of a wide veranda. Imagine all this and you will find it at Croc River Lodge.This thatched guesthouse is situated only 6 km from the the Lebombo border post between South Africa and Mozambique and 10 kilometers from the Kruger National Park's nearest gate, Crocodile Bridge, in South Africa's Mpumalanga Province. Close to the tranquil town of Komatipoort, it is an ideal stopover for tourists visiting the natural wonders is Kruger National Park or the attractions of Mozambique.
Croc River Lodge has six double air-conditioned rooms all with en-suite bathrooms. All provide the comforts of a true African style, three with spectacular views of the Crocodile River and Kruger National Park from a magnificent thatched veranda.
A built in barbeque and swimming pool on the veranda provides the perfect ending to a long day of game viewing. The fully equipped kitchen is available for the making of dinner and for self-catering purposes. Double rooms, all with en-suite shower and bathroom of which two are smoking and four are non-smoking. Four of the rooms can be utilized as twin rooms. All of the rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and have individual air-conditioning and telephone for internet connection. The rooms are fully serviced every morning and fresh towels are supplied. Each room is equipped with a remote control television and satellite connection with own decoder. Three rooms offer a magnificent view of the Crocodile River and the Kruger National Park.
