Protea Wilds Retreat is conveniently situated between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay, close enough to enjoy all the activities in and around the area.Spoil yourself on this 270 hectare retreat, abundant with birdlife, proteas, and fynbos. You can enjoy our self-drive scenic 4x4 route, take your mountain bike and explore, hike down to the Bitou River, or relax on the pool deck whilst enjoying the view.
Just in front of the units is our unique Fynbosskerm, an enclosed lapa area with kitchens, private and central barbecue areas, lounge with fireplace and DStv, and dining/breakfast room. The views are exquisite and our hospitality second to none.
Protea Wilds Retreat is continually moving closer to becoming greener and more environmentally friendly. We recycle, we only use fully biodegradable and organic cleaning agents that are not tested on animals, we conserve water where we can, plant indigenous flora and fauna, and we save energy by phasing out normal bulbs and using solar heating for the pool.Request A Quote
