Set in tranquil, landscaped grounds close to The Heads, Knysna town centre, picturesque lagoon and quays, Armadillo Studios provides a sophisticated, stylish environment for adults (Regret that children over 12 years old can only be accommodated).

Each of our three luxury guest suites is equipped to a high standard, offering all the amenities a discerning visitor should expect - plus some pleasant surprises! Our large, secluded garden is a haven for birds and butterflies and features a pool, extensive sun decks, lapa and braai area.

We offer a choice of accommodation-only or B and B in Studios one and two and self-catering or B and B in Studio 3 - our beautifully equipped two bedrooms, self-contained apartment. Rates range from R300 to R500 per person per night and include complimentary refreshments. Your hosts, Marion and David, will be delighted to provide information and recommendations about things to do and see whilst in Knysna. Studio 1 is a spacious 34 sq m and suitable for two adults (regret no children under 12 years). It features a queen bed (cotton percale linen), lounge area with leather sofa, DStv and Hi-Fi, plus separate mini-kitchen equipped with microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge with complimentary snacks and 'honesty bar' beverages. There's a spacious shower room tiled in mosaics and natural slate, pool towels and toiletries, together with a separate WC. A private furnished patio leading to the lawn, lapa, fire pit and pool completes the scene. Additional features include: digital safe, hairdryer, ceiling fan, heated towel rail, underfloor heating, bathroom heaters, electric blanket, china, cutlery, glassware, private entrance and shaded parking.

Ideal for up to four adults (regret no children under 12 years), Studio 3 offers 76 sq m of stylish, open plan self-catering accommodation. Totally self-contained with a furnished patio (including kettle braai) and overlooking the garden and pool, the apartment has a fully equipped kitchen/diner with microwave oven/grill, electric hob and extractor, toaster and kettle, plus ample crockery, cutlery and kitchenware. The fridge / freezer contains complimentary snacks and 'honesty bar' drinks. Studio 3 comprises a master bedroom with queen bed and stylish en suite shower room/WC, plus a smaller twin room with separate shower/WC. Bedrooms feature built-in wardrobes, dressing table, wall heaters, electric blankets and cotton percale linen. The lounge area contains a rattan sofa and armchairs, coffee table, DStv, DVD player and Hi-Fi.
