We are the closest spot, 1 km, to the Hluhluwe/Imfolozi Game reserve. For the best 4x4 open-vehicle game drives, visit Hluhluwe Backpackers. We call the Big 5 our neighbours and enjoy a stunning 360-degree view onto the surrounding hills of Zululand and the mountains of the national park.We offer a very warm and homely atmosphere in a unique and peaceful environment. Our main house has three comfortable Double Rooms, two Twin Rooms and two four-bed Dorms, with shared bathroom facilities. The kitchen is very well equipped with all cutlery, crockery, utensils, gas stoves, a fridge and freezer and a microwave. If you are not in the mood for cooking, we can spoil you with one of our tasty meals.
The lounge, dining and reception areas, the Park Pub with cold beers and a variety of drinks, the large garden area with a big boma and braai and outside eating areas, offer you ample space to relax.
Also on offer is a chalet, three stationery parked caravans and camping space - all under the shade of Marula and other indigenous trees.
Please note we have 12 camping sites available. Light and plug points are provided. Our excellent ablution facilities are close by and our boma/braai area is there for your use. We charge R70.00 pp per night for the site.
We recommend you to join us on one of our open-vehicle game drives into the national park, conducted by a professional field guide. On offer is a three-hour drive at R420.00 pp, a six-hour drive at R720.00 pp, and a full-day drive at R1050.00 pp. Extras include fire shows, Zulu dancing, stargazing, birdwatching, and trips to St Lucia and surrounding areas including rural Zulu villages.

Chalet (1)
The Chalet has one double bed. Linen and a fan is provided. An extra matress can be provided for children. Excellent ablution facilities are close-by. Our self-catering kitchen in the main house is available for your use. A light, self-serving breakfast included in rate.

Dorm (4)
The Dorm has four rustic bunk beds that sleeps eight people - two per bunk bed and an en-suite shower, basin and toilet facility. Linen is provided. The well equipped, self-catering kitchen, in the main house, is available for use. A light, self-serving breakfast is included in the rate.

Double Rooms (3)
Three double rooms are available in the main house. Double beds, linen and ceiling fans are provided. Shared bathroom facilities are available as well as the use of our fully equipped, self-catering kitchen. A light, self-serving breakfast is included in the rate.

Parked Caravans (3)
Three stationery parked caravans can be rented. Each caravan sleeps two to four people and linen is provided. Excellent ablution facilities are close-by. Our fully equipped, self-catering kitchen in the main house is available for your use. A light, self-serving breakfast is included in the rate.
