The Potting Shed Guest House is a 1920's Cape Cottage style property located in the quaint town of Hermanus. We are only one hour away from Cape Town International Airport. Breakfast includes fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, toast and freshly squeezed juice. Guests have a choice of a cooked or Continental breakfast and unlimited tea and coffee.

We can accommodate 14 guests in three Standard Rooms and two Family Rooms. The Family Rooms can sleep four guests in each. All of the rooms have tea and coffee-making facilities, TVs, safety deposit boxes, overhead fans, wall heaters, pool towels and en-suite bathrooms. We can supply a cot on request for younger children.

The flood-lit pool area has sun loungers, tables, chairs and barbecue facilities for guests to use. All utensils can be supplied on request. The pool area is also enclosed for child safety. We offer DStv, a video player, DVD player, a Play Station and a piano. Board games can be provided in the lounge. As we are unlicensed, we provide a fridge for guests to store their own liquor.

Ideally situated just off the main road, the town centre, restaurants, cliff paths and sea are all a short walk away. Enjoy whale watching between June and November. Arrangements can also be made for other local activities such as whale trips, sea kayaking, fishing and shark cage diving.Request A Quote
