Description
Benguela is situated on the point in southern Elands Bay. It is spacious and cool with views of the sea and mountain. The place is close to the beach and it sleeps up to eight people. The swimming pool is surrounded by bush for extra privacy and the braai facilities are situated below the deck.Your own bedding is required, although we supply sheets, spare pillows and blankets should you need them. The master bedroom is upstairs and it offers a double bed, en-suite bathroom and balcony. Two single beds are situated next to the stairwell and two single beds are on the far end of the living area. The living room has great views and access to a balcony. There is a downstairs bedroom with a double bed, a shower and a toilet next door. The ground floor also features a kitchen and a living room complete with high ceilings.
The Surf Shack is a basic accommodation option located right next to the Main House. It features a bedroom with a double bed and two bunk beds in the living room. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. The house has a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, freezer, stove and oven. Guests can utilize the braai facility and swimming pool.
Elands Bay is a haven for many people with an abundance of wildlife and over 240 species of birds to be found in the greater Velorenvlei area. Flowers are also a must-see, blooming in early August as spring approaches. The area has a rich history and still seems preserved in another era making it a remedy for city life.
