Located on the beachfront, the Gonubie Hotel is a family-run hotel boasting two restaurants and four bars with beautiful views over the Gonubie bay. Our guests have a choice between bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation. The Galleon restaurant provides both guests and locals with a mouthwatering à la carte cuisine and our other services include breakfast, lunch and dinners at The Deck restaurant.The Gonubie Hotel is perfectly situated for weddings and it has three fully equipped conference facilities to suit our clients’ needs. It is a stone’s throw away from a beach including safe lagoons, tidal pools and the Gonubie River. Our guests enjoy a relaxing stroll across one of South Africans longest boardwalks to the main Gonubie Beach. Our flagship restaurant provides guests with views of the bay where they can watch dolphins play and immerse themselves in the beauty and wildlife of the Eastern Cape coastline.
There are many activities that keep our guests entertained during their stay with us and these include sailing, surfing, windsurfing, rock, river and boat fishing, diving, bowls, tennis, squash and golf at the local Gonubie Golf Course. Horse riding can also be arranged and there is a bird sanctuary close to the hotel for the avid birdwatchers. Double Room (10)
These rooms are comfortably furnished with two double beds in each room allowing them to accommodate four guests. The rooms are equipped with a television with DStv, tea and coffee-making facilities, a bar fridge, a safe and beautiful sea views.

Self-catering Unit (7)
The units consist of two family units that can accommodate four to six guests comfortably on one double bed and two single beds, plus an extra sleeper couch. There are five bachelor units with three or four single beds in of the bachelor units. The units have barbecue facilities and on-site parking. All units are fully equipped with cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, bed linen and towels. Beach towels not included. All units are serviced daily and laundry facilities are available. Guests are welcome to use all of the hotel facilities such as the restaurants, bars, the mini casino and a hotel shop for your self-catering requirements.
