Situated along the Lower La Lucia Beaches in a beautiful tropical garden, Zeranka Lodge offers ideal accommodation for both the businessman and the holidaymaker.We were the winner of the Kwababa/B&B sure excellence award for 2003/2004 and are 4 Star graded. Zeranka Lodge is set in a peaceful and tranquil setting in Umhlanga, close to the main access roads, 20 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from the city centre of Durban.
Luxurious and comfortable accommodation that offer a variety of options to our guests. Accommodation comprises self-catering units with fully-equipped kitchens, en-suite bathrooms, private access to the beach, laundry facilities, braai facilities, a swimming pool and every other comfort you can think of. English or continental breakfasts are served in the dining area. All rooms have individual private entrances.
Zeranka Lodge provides a peaceful atmosphere. Enjoy lounging by the pool and lovely gardens where you can sit and enjoy those warm South African evenings. We are in close proximity to a range of tourist attractions and a great selection of restaurants and pubs. Umhlanga is known internationally as the holiday Mecca of KwaZulu-Natal with magnificent beaches and game parks within easy reach by car. The beautiful Drakensberg, Zulu dancing and the Valley of 1000 Hills are all in close proximity to Umhlanga.
Gateway Entertainment and Shopping Centre, with shops, restaurants, cinemas, theatres, IMAX, climbing wall, skate park, wave pool, putt putt, squash, aerobics and much more, is just five minutes away. The casino is nearby, as well as a popular theatre for some of the country's best performances.
