Description
Rocky Pool Guest Cottage is situated on the Durban South Coast, with picturesque sea views and only 1 km from the nearest beach and shops. There are also two protected main beaches close by and the local shopping centres are within 1 to 3 km away. The new Arbor Crossing shopping centre is open, as well as the new Galleria centre, offering a variety of shops, movie entertainment, an ice-skating rink, ten-pin bowling, entertainment, and restaurants. Galleria is only 8 to 9 km away and the biggest shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere.The cottage is a log-style self-catering unit sleeping four guests comfortably. A large patio extends from the lounge over the crystal blue rock pool, in a tropical garden setting and surrounded by lush vegetation. The cottage offers privacy and tranquility, with use of the entertainment area, bar area, braai facilities, pool, swings and a trampoline for the kids.
The cottage is styled with log furniture and has a wood-panelled interior. Features include air-conditioning in the lounge, a TV, radio, DVD and CD player and DStv facilities - bring your DStv smart card and decoder to connect. The cottage has an open-plan kitchen with a bar counter for the occasional sundowner and is equipped with a stove, microwave, kitchen utensils, and cutlery. The main bedroom has a double bed with a semi en-suite bathroom and separate doors leading from either the bedroom or the lounge, and the bathroom has a shower, a basin and a toilet.
Rocky Pool Guest Cottage boasts scenic views of the surrounding area and panoramic views of the ocean, not to mention the spectacular bird life which includes peacocks, Yellow-billed kite hawks, guinea fowl and various other small birds, such as the proverbial hadeda so remember to bring your binoculars.
