Chardonnay Guest House is a tranquil setting in the hub of La Lucia. We invite you to enjoy a generous English breakfast on our large undercover patio, with a view of our secluded garden with its swimming pool and abundant birdlife.We have five tastefully decorated, en-suite bedrooms with air-conditioning and private entrances, cotton Percale linen and quality towels with complimentary toiletries. Each room has an honesty fridge with soft drinks and ice. We supply complimentary biscuits with tea and coffee making facilities. Each room is equipped with hair-dryers, colour TVs, including M-Net and selected DStv, as well as Wi-Fi Internet access. There is also a digital safe for your valuables and ample secure, off-street parking for your vehicle. Our proximity to all amenities makes us an ideal destination for either business or holiday getaways. The La Lucia Ridge and Umhlanga Ridge business parks, the Gateway Theatre of Shopping with its cinemas and wide variety of restaurants, the La Lucia and Umhlanga Beaches, as well as the lovely Umhlanga promenade, are all a mere five minutes away and it's only 10 minutes to Durban central. The La Lucia mall is two minutes away and the Virgin Active Health Club, with tennis facilities, is a two minute drive or walking distance away.
The Durban International Airport is only 25 minutes from us and the New King Shaka International Airport is only 15 minutes away. Airport transfers can be arranged. For those who enjoy the sports you will be pleased to know that Chardonnay Guest House is conveniently situated for all forms. We are about 10 minutes from both the ABSA and Moses Mabhida Stadiums and Kingsmead Cricket Grounds, as well as Kings Park swimming pool. There are also various golf courses located only 10 minutes away. The Greyville race course is about 20 minutes from us.
More on the fun side, the Sun Coast and Sibaya Casinos and uShaka Marine World are 10 to 15 minutes away. Let's not forget the lovely Botanical Gardens and the Umgeni Bird Park, which are also approximately 15 minutes away.
