Description
Madadeni Guest House is situated in the lush surrounds of the Kloof Gorge, just 20 minutes drive outside of Durban and the Indian Ocean. The house consists of two double rooms and double suite with its own entrance. We serve our full English breakfast in the dining room which overlooks the pool, and on a warm day you can even take breakfast on the lawn.There is a large lounge upstairs with DStv and a reading area. We also have a desk for those on business and we offer Wi-Fi Internet.. All rooms are serviced daily and towels and linen are included. The property also has a salt water pool and undercover parking.
We are excited to announce the arrival of some new geese, Jake and Adam and a big mallard duck named Daffy, all of whom love being fed. And are now the proud owners of 18 pecan ducklings who are having so much fun in our beautiful gardens.
We are in the process of upgrading our middle garden to become a haven for children, and are hoping to add a jungle gym and sand pit in the near future. Our lower gardens have been kept as natural as possible, and as you walk around you will see many indigenous, sub-tropical plants and stumble across our large pond which is home to our geese and ducks. We have plans for the herb garden where we hope to hold wedding ceremonies under a gazebo, but until then we open our gardens for wedding photo's and intimate champagne receptions. Brides like to stop by with their guests to have photos and a glass of champagne before going onto a larger reception.
Finally, our top garden is home to our English tea garden. Stop by and have traditional English afternoon or cream tea. We do ask you to book before hand. This is so as not to disturb our overnight guests with too many day visitors. We can also hold baby or wedding showers and small group teas.
Madadeni is also pleased to announce that we have now added a luxurious conference venue with prices from just R295 per delegate, including a standing buffet lunch. We can arrange airport transfers, evening meals and flowers or champagne for those special getaways. We look forward to your visit.

The iLongwe Room (1)
The iLongwe room is located on the first floor at Madadeni. It has a double bed, plenty of wardrobe space,tea and coffee making facilities and safe. This room is not en-suite but shares a bathroom and separate toilet with the INKANKANE room. Breakfast is served in the dining area just down the hallway and there is a large lounge with DSTV for guests use. Wi-Fi internet is available to guests. Rates include Breakfast, all towels and linen and daily room service.

The iNkankane Room - Marula Cottage (1)
The INKANKANE room is located on the first floor at Madadeni. It has a double bed, plenty of wardrobe space,tea and coffee making facilities and safe. This room is not en-suite but shares a bathroom and separate toilet with the ILONGWE room. Breakfast is served in the dining area just down the hallway and there is a large lounge with DSTV for guests use. Wi-Fi internet is available to guests. Rates include Breakfast, all towels and linen and daily room service.

THE HAMERKOP SUITE (1)
Located in our top Cottage, the HAMERKOP SUITE consists of a double bedroom with King size bed, plenty of wardrobe space and En-Suite bathroom with a bath, separate shower and toilet. Leading from The Bedroom is a small and cosy lounge with settee, tea/coffee making facilities,TV with DSTV and dining table where you can have breakfast served if you don't want to eat in the dining room. The suite also has its own entrance and small entertainment/Braai area ( Braai provided – please supply own charcoal). We can add a single bed to this suite if required. Madadeni also has Wi-Fi internet access available to guests. Prices quoted include: Full English Breakfast, All towels & linens and daily room service. Rates: R375pppn (sharing) R425pppn (single)

Top Cottage (1)
We are happy to rent out our top cottage ( Hamerkop Suite, Ilongwe & Inkankane rooms) for a min of 8 guests (max 10). You will have full self catering facilities inc daily maid service. Rates are quoted for the whole unit per night at R1850.

Ilongwei Cottage (1)
Our Middle Cottage which is not suitable for disabled or those who have trouble climbing steps, has two double bedrooms, one of which can take a single bed to make a triple room, large lounge and dining room, bathroom and separate toilet. A fully-functional kitchen including a gas hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer and Microwave. DStv and Internet are available for guests at no extra cost. All linen and towels are included.

HamerKop Unit (1)
This is our smallest unit comprising of a king-size bed with en-suite bathroom and a separate twin room with two single beds which makes it a great place for a family of four on a short break. Although there are no cooking facilities there are tea and coffee making facilities. There is also free DStv and Wi-Fi Internet. All linen and towels are provided.

Ukhozi Cottage (1)
Suitable or disabled guests is situated on the ground floor. The cottage has a double room and a single room with a 3-quarter bed. A fully functional kitchen is available and the lounge has DStv and Internet free of charge. All linen and towels are provided. Please note that this bathroom only has a shower and doors are wide enough for a standard size wheelchair.
