Description

Madadeni Guest House is situated in the lush surrounds of the Kloof Gorge, just 20 minutes drive outside of Durban and the Indian Ocean. The house consists of two double rooms and double suite with its own entrance. We serve our full English breakfast in the dining room which overlooks the pool, and on a warm day you can even take breakfast on the lawn.

There is a large lounge upstairs with DStv and a reading area. We also have a desk for those on business and we offer Wi-Fi Internet.. All rooms are serviced daily and towels and linen are included. The property also has a salt water pool and undercover parking.

We are excited to announce the arrival of some new geese, Jake and Adam and a big mallard duck named Daffy, all of whom love being fed. And are now the proud owners of 18 pecan ducklings who are having so much fun in our beautiful gardens.

We are in the process of upgrading our middle garden to become a haven for children, and are hoping to add a jungle gym and sand pit in the near future. Our lower gardens have been kept as natural as possible, and as you walk around you will see many indigenous, sub-tropical plants and stumble across our large pond which is home to our geese and ducks. We have plans for the herb garden where we hope to hold wedding ceremonies under a gazebo, but until then we open our gardens for wedding photo's and intimate champagne receptions. Brides like to stop by with their guests to have photos and a glass of champagne before going onto a larger reception.

Finally, our top garden is home to our English tea garden. Stop by and have traditional English afternoon or cream tea. We do ask you to book before hand. This is so as not to disturb our overnight guests with too many day visitors. We can also hold baby or wedding showers and small group teas.

Madadeni is also pleased to announce that we have now added a luxurious conference venue with prices from just R295 per delegate, including a standing buffet lunch. We can arrange airport transfers, evening meals and flowers or champagne for those special getaways. We look forward to your visit.

The iLongwe Room (1)

The iLongwe room is located on the first floor at Madadeni. It has a double bed, tea and coffee making facilities and safe. This room is not en-suite but shares a bathroom and seperate toilet with one other room. Use of the kitchen is available to guests. Prices are quoted R/O but breakfast can be booked at R50 pp We are also able to hire the complete cottage, please contact us for a quote. Internet access is available at a small nominal charge per room per stay.

The iNkankane Room - Marula Cottage (1)

The The iNkankane room is also located in our Marula cottage. It has a double bed, tea and coffee making facilities and safe. This room is not en-suite but shares a bathroom and seperate toilet with one other room. Our top cottage. consists of a large lounge/dining room, which looks down over the beautiful indigenous gardens, a full kitchen available to guests to use at no extra cost, after 4pm. The cottage also has a fire place in the lounge for chilly evenings, ceiling fans in the lounge for sultry summer days, DStv on a large screen TV and wireless ASDL internet access. Prices are quoted on room only but breakfast available at R50 on request. we are also able to hire the complete cottage, please contact us for a quote.

The Hamerkop Room (1)

Our Hamerkop room makes up one of our three rooms in Marula Cottage. It has a king size bed, a full en-suite bathroom, TV, tea and coffee making facilities and safe. The Hamerkop is located in our top cottage. Price quoted is for R/O but breakast available for R50 and must be booked.. Price also include daily maid service and use of the kitchen. We are also able to hire the complete cottage, please contact or a quote.

Ukhozi Room (1)

Our Ukhozi Room is situated on the ground floor of Madadeni, next to the breakfast room. The room has a double bed, DStv, safe and tea/coffee making facilities. The room is serviced daily and There is use of the kitchen.. The Guest house also has Wi-Fi and we charge a nominal fee per stay for use of our internet. Although our prices are quoted on B&B we can offer room only.

Idada Room (1)

The Idada room is located on the First floor at Madadeni, next to the Hamerkop Room. This room can be used as a single, twin or triple room. The room has a double sleeper couch or it can be used in conjunction with the Hamerkop room to make a family unit with its own entrance. This room does not have a TV as standard, But all other features inc. tea/coffee making facilities, towels and linen are included. The room is serviced daily and Wi-Fi internet is available at a small nominal charge per room per stay. Prices are quoted on R/O add R50 or breakfast

Top Cottage (1)

our top unit consists o the following rooms, Hamerkop,, Idada, Ilongwei and Inkanane. We can add a sleeper couch in the main lounge area which will allow the cottage to sleep 10 persons. all linen, towels etc are included and there is use of the kitchen for self catering.
