Description
Clarens is a small town situated in the foothills of the Maluti mountains in the Free State province of South Africa, and nicknamed the Jewel of the Eastern Free State. Rooiland boast magnificent views of the sandstone mountains surrounding Clarens.Situated in a lush garden on a 3,000 square metre stand, it offers two separate cottages; Rooiland Bergsig which sleeps four to six guests and Rooiland Tuinsig which sleeps two to four guests. The self-catering cottages are within walking distance of all shops, galleries, restaurants, and many more attractions.
To name just a few activities in the area, there are numerous hiking trails in and around Clarens and on surrounding farms, guests can visit some of the numerous sandstone caves to view ancient Bushmen paintings, and visit the Golden Gate Nature Reserve which is very close to Clarens.Request A Quote

Self-catering cottage with a private entrance to the property and a carport where the gate can be locked. Features include a lush garden and a thatch roof gazebo and barbecue facility. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, microwave and fridge, and coffee, tea, sugar and milk are also supplied. The lounge features a fireplace servicing the lounge and dining room, and during the winter months we build a fire and supply one bundle of extra firewood daily. Additional firewood is supplied at an additional cost. Selected DStv and a DVD player are also available. The bedroom has a double bed and a double sleeper couch, and an electric blanket and towels are supplied. The cottage is serviced daily for guests' convenience.
