Amakhaya Golf Lodge is idyllically situated fairly close to the white sand beaches of Hout Bay and Llandudno and boasts spectacular views of the Chapman's Peak mountains, the bay and the sea beyond. Amakhaya is the only guest house in South Africa which offers own golf practice facilities such as putting greens, chipping pats, net for drives, and a bunker.Amakhaya offers the perfect starting point for sightseeing, golf and relaxation. Being situated in the heart of Hout Bay, Amakhaya Golf Lodge offers easy access to the village, beaches and major routes. Other activities include hiking, sailing, surfing, kayaking, fishing, cycling, and having a picnic or walk along the long stretch of beach. The scenic Chapman's Peak Drive, the harbour, a bird sanctuary, and Seal Island are all right on the doorstep.
The lodge offers every comfort and a choice between five different suites, each of which has been individually decorated in an African style in a relaxed, private and peaceful environment. The comfortable African lounge offers a variety of books, magazines and information needed to explore the Western Cape, while 24-hour Internet access is available free of charge.

The Buffalo Suite (1)
The Buffalo Suite boasts breathtaking views of Chapman's Peak, the bay and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. The suite is located on the ground floor and comprises two bedrooms, a living area, fully equipped kitchen, and private terrace overlooking the swimming pool area. The main bedroom consists of an extra length king-size bed, writing desk and bathroom with corner bathtub and shower, while the second bedroom consists of a queen-size bed with bath and toilet. The living area as well as both bedrooms include a TV, DVD, CD and MP3 player. The fully equipped kitchen consists of a fridge, deep freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, microwave and coffee machine.

The Elephant Suite (1)
The Elephant Suite, our Honeymoon Suite, boasts breathtaking views of Chapman's Peak, the bay and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. The suite is located on the first floor and is equipped with an extra length king-size bed, a couch, writing table, walk-in cupboard, and bathroom with bath and shower.

The Giraffe Suite (1)
The Giraffe Room enjoys breathtaking views of Chapman's Peak, the bay and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. The suite is located on the first floor and is equipped with a king-size bed, writing table and bathroom with bath and shower.

The Leopard Room is located on the first floor, with lovely mountain views, and is equipped with a king-size or twin beds and a bathroom with shower.

The Ostrich Cottage (1)
The Ostrich Cottage boasts breathtaking views of Chapman’s Peak, the bay and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. The cottage is a separate building and consists of a bedroom, living area with TV, DVD, CD and MP3 player, a fully equipped kitchen, and private garden with access to the pool and golf facilities. The bedroom contains a queen-size bed and bathroom with shower, while the living area allows extra sleeping facilities on a comfortable sleeper couch for up to one adult or two children.

The bedroom consists of a queen-size bed and bathroom with shower, while the living area allows extra sleeping facilities on a comfortable sleeper couch for up to two people. The beautiful and practical wooden coffee table stores bedding during the day, allowing guests to use the suite for four people without limitation. The fully equipped kitchen consists of a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, microwave, coffee machine, oven and hob.
