Description

Located in a quiet street only 600m from fabulous Blaauwberg Beach with its world-renowned view of Table Mountain. “Zur Palme” offers 4 en-suite twin bed rooms.
“Zur Palme” translated from German means “at the palm tree”, and an imposing example can be found in the front garden. German, English and Afrikaans spoken.
All our rooms have a digital safe, satellite TV, radio and heater. Sockets for European-style 2-pin plugs are in each room. Special shaver plugs (220V/110V) are in each bathroom.
Our tariff includes Breakfast, either Continental or Full English, which can be enjoyed overlooking the colourful enclosed garden.
Evenings, on request and weather permitting, a “Southwest Braai” can be offered at the outdoor entertainment area.
Indoors you will find a cozy bar, and a fireplace for the cooler evenings. A small library with books in English and German is available for the “book worms”. Playing cards, chess-sets etc can also be provided.
Wireless Internet & e-mail service available.
The main shopping centre is only 300 meter away, and offers all the major chain stores, supermarkets, cinemas, restaurants etc.
Towards the Beach, a maximum of 600 meter away, you will find pubs and a variety of restaurants. Karaoke bars and nightclubs complete the palette of entertainment

3 Rooms have two "Twin" beds (90x190). 1 Room has a Double Bed. All bedrooms are NON-SMOKING. Stretcher Bed available for a child under 12 at a small additional charge (Maximum 2 , i.e. 1 per Room / max. 2 Rooms). TV, radio, heater and digital safe. Bathroom is en-suite, and has a shower, wash-basin & WC. All bed-linen and towels are supplied. Self-serve Tea and Coffee facilities, and a Microwave Oven are in the Entertainment Room.
