Description
Herder Herberg Guest House is the ideal stopover for the traveller or camper travelling between the north and south. Come and enjoy a home-style atmosphere in our comfortable rooms with a country ambiance. We are situated on the banks of the Modder River some 25 km north of Bloemfontein city centre.We offer two separate self-catering Chalets and five comfortable en-suite bedrooms in the main house with all the requirements to provide a good night’s rest. The Chalets are situated near the Modder River and are equipped with lounges, fully equipped kitchens with fridge-freezers and two-plate stoves with small ovens. Each Chalet has one bedroom with two single beds and a bunk bed, accommodating four guests each with one shared bathroom. You can prepare your own meals or order your meals from the guest house with prior arrangement. Braai facilities are provided.
You will find the Loch Logan Waterfront, Free State Stadium, hospitals, Medi-Clinic, a theatre, rugby stadium, cricket stadium, restaurants and shopping centres nearby. Chalet (2)
Equipped with a lounge, a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge-freezer and a two-plate stove with a small oven. One Chalet has two single beds and a bunk bed and the second Chalet has one double bed and two single beds. each accommodating four guests comfortably with one shared bathroom.

Glen 1 (1)
This is a comfortable en-suite bedroom with one double bed and one single bed with a private entrance. We serve complimentary tea and coffee with rusks or biscuits and we provide magazines as well. All meals are available with prior arrangement or make use of your own braai facilities on the patio overlooking the garden.

Glen 2 and 3 (2)
These rooms have private entrances and are comfortably decorated with a choice of a double bed or two single beds. We serve complimentary tea and coffee with rusks or biscuits and magazines are provided. All meals are available with prior arrangement or you can make use of your own braai facilities on the patio overlooking the garden.

Glen 5 (1)
This room is comfortable, neat and decorated in a tasteful manner with one double bed. The bathroom facilities must be shared with Glen 6, so it is ideal for good friends or a family to share. We serve complimentary tea and coffee with rusks or biscuits and magazines are provided. All meals are available with prior arrangement or you can make use of the braai facilities provided at the lapa overlooking the garden and swimming pool.

This room is comfortable, neat and decorated in a tasteful manner with one double bed and two single beds. The bathroom facilities must be shared with Glen 5. We serve complimentary tea and coffee with rusks or biscuits and magazines are provided.
