Description
Enjoy basic to standard country style accommodation at Grateful Guest House. Run by a young couple in Bloemfontein, this accommodation offers basic to standard accommodation. Spacious, private, comfortable, quiet and restful accommodation with a large verandah, swimming pool, garden chairs and tree filled gardens with braai facilities.Plenty of space for kids to run-around swim and enjoy the outdoors. Camp out with the kids in a tent for a couple of hours or have a family camp fire, catch up, reconnect away from the city noise, although the centre of town is just over the hill.
Pets are allowed on the premises by arrangement. Stabling facilities are available where horses can be stabled, graze and be walked or run.
Working holidays use your knowledge and experience to help build, paint, fix or harvest, harvesting is seasonal. Volunteer at local shelters, orphanages, churches or Christian organisations and rub shoulders with active believers.Request A Quote

Semi-Luxury Cottage (1)
The Unit can Sleep up to 12 Guests and Includes Coffee, Tea, Milk & Rusks. Main Bedroom has Double Bunk and 2 single beds. The Second room Queen Size Bed. The Third room is a Kitchenette / TV Room and has a single bed (Can also add a bunk bed). The Unit has a Full Bathroom, private entrance, veranda opens onto the swimming pool, BBQ / braai and garden area.

Semi-Luxury Country Home (1)
This home has 6 Rooms and a large fully equipped kitchen. It opens onto the veranda, BBQ and swimming pool area. 5 of the rooms are bedrooms while one doubles as a lounge with beds. This country home sleeps 14 and the next door cottage sleeps 7, making large group accommodation easy. 3 Rooms have fire places and the upstairs room is a sun-room. There are 6 single beds and 4 bunk beds.

Zulu/Xhosa/Sotho Cottage Very Private (1)
Enjoy a rare stay in a Africa Styled Cottage. Go back 100 years. No electricity, water heated in a fire geyser, the warm glow of fire, candles and oil lamps, and of course your own courtyard and fire pit where you can sit, BBQ and talk the night away. Well you can in our 1800's style cottage in Traditional Basotho African theme and decor. You'll have running hot and cold water when you light the fire, inside and outside fireplaces, outside shower, no electricity, but plenty of candles and oil lamps. Price includes BBQ pack, salads, rolls and soda. Twin or King bed, bunk bed, bedding, towels, soaps, fire-kettle, and basic cutlery and crockery included.

Basic accommodation consisting of two bunk beds and one single bed. Bedding is semi luxury. The unit has its own basic shower-bathroom. Camp fire/barbecue area available. Please note that this is not a self-catering unit, but an overnight room. There is only tea and coffee-making facilities available.

This option is an affordable apartment for Corporate Clients, Post Graduates or Business Clients looking for accommodation for 3 days or longer. The quite atmosphere and spacious surroundings make this apartment ideal. Whether you are big or small, room with your choice of bed, accommodating up to four guests, semi-luxury bedding. The lounge, dining, office space and Kitchenette are available. Features available are internet/Wi-Fi, Wireless and ADSL, fax, scanner, photo copier, and printer by arrangement and at additional cost. Breakfast and lunch can be booked through us and enjoyed at nearby restaurant. A dinner is at Steak Ranch 5 minutes away. We also have medium to long term accommodation available.

The unit consists of three rooms; room 1 is private with two bunk and two single beds, room 2 is private and has queen-size bed and room 3 is open-plan with two single beds. Bedding is semi-luxury with percale duvets, two pillows, two sheets, blankets and towels. Please not that there is only 1.5 bathrooms to service your group split bathroom with shower and basin, and bath, hand shower, toilet and basin. This unit has tea and coffee-making facilities, microwave, toaster, cutlery and crockery. If you need a two plate stove or fridge, please arrange prior to your arrival. A lounge/dining area can be arranged if requested.
