Description

Emoya Wildlife Estate, Conference Centre and Spa are located on the western border of Bloemfontein, the capital of the Free State. This 260-hectare paradise offers visitors superb service, fine dining and the opportunity to view and interact with a variety of free-roaming game species in a naturally pristine setting.

It is a place like no other with unrivaled beauty, serenity, tranquillity and breathtaking sunsets surrounded by the buzz of a big city. You can either stay at the luxurious Basotho Village, or even experience a Makuku or Shack, complete with traditional clothing and Putu pap.

Gaze at the stars, while sitting next to a crackling fire in our bush lapa. Go on a game drive and experience up to 33 species of game, such as giraffe, sable and warthog. Visit our cheetah facility and interact with lion, leopard, cheetah, wolves and caracal. Emoya is also one of only a few facilities in the world where you can find the critically endangered King Cheetah.

Enjoy a delicious traditional English breakfast and mouthwatering meals at the Spookhuijs Restaurant, which offers a unique 1904 Boer War atmosphere. Our venues are simply unique, capturing a natural setting whilst hosting fairy tale weddings, professional conferences and exclusive functions.
