Description
B&B at 53 offers good quality down to earth home from home value for money clean affordable overnight and long term guest accommodation. Our guests who keep returning time after time are proof of this.Long term guests 30 days and over are our speciality and special rates are negotiated. Situated two kilometers from the centre city, at the foot of the Historic Naval Hill, close to schools universities Golf clubs and hospitals. This old Semi Edwardian style home built in 1927 has been lovingly upgraded to offer our Guests the best value for their rands.
We have three fully-equipped air-conditioned, self-catering cottages as well as two en-suite bedrooms, one twin room - not en suite. All rooms are equipped with TV, M-Net, SABC and complimentary tea tray. Our cottages are fully-equipped with stove fridge and micro wave crockery and cutlery.
All Linen is supplied, our caravan lodge can sleep up to four persons in two single and one double configuration. These are equipped with TV’s, kettles, fridges and tea tray. We are a very popular with backpackers, hikers, scouting and school groups on sporting outings. Safe and secure parking with remote access is available.
Buses of the Iveco Sprinter size can be accommodated, trailer parking bay is also available. For more info and a no obligation quote please forward your enquiry. We are pet friendly by prior arrangement and have two dogs of our own resident on the property who do not bother or interfere with our guests, should you have an unusual fear or dislike dogs we would prefer that you not book with us. Anthony's Self Catering Cottage (1)
A small compact yet comfortable air-conditioned cottage with one easy chair, wardrobe dresser and wall mirror, double bed electric under blanket. Wall unit with remote colour 54 cm TV with seven channels and a seperate mini Hi-Fi, CD and DVD player. Fully-quipped Kitchen with stove fridge, micro wave, crockery and cutlery to serve four persons. Mini wall safe, a clean tiled bathroom with toilet, internet access.

George's Family Self-catering Cottage (1)
A large air-conditioned family size cottage which can sleep up to six persons in a one double, three single configure, and consists of a lounge/dining area, open-plan kitchen equipped with stove fridge micro wave and sufficient crockery and cutlery to serve eight persons. Shower basin and toilet regret no bath in this unit. A large bedroom sleeps three persons in a one double and one single configure, and two single beds in lounge/dining area. Tea tray & complimentary toiletries, separate TV in lounge and in bedroom. Equipped with Hi-Fi Radio and CD player, ceiling fans, private small garden and safe and secure parking with remote access. Wireless internet access.

Deluxe Equipped Caravans (2)
Well equipped semi luxury Caravan's which are fitted with mini fridge, electric kettle and tea tray, electric fans and fan heaters. Irons and ironing boards are supplied upon request, and laundry can be arranged by request. These Caravans are fitted with remote colour TV and mini radio/CD Player. We regret that for safety reasons no cooking of any sort is permitted in the caravans. All towels and linen is supplied and included in the rates quoted. Bathroom and toilet facilities are provided by a centrally situated ablution within close walking distance to each caravan.

Charlies' Log Cabin (1)
This lovely little self-contained log cabin, is located in the garden near the splash pool. This unit is air-conditioned, and has full self-catering facilities with three plate stove/oven as well as fridge with freezer compartment. A micro wave as well as kitchen utensils crockery and cutlery are provided. A 54 centimeter remote colour TV with seven channels is there to entertain you. Parking directly at the cottage door. This unit has been very tastefully decorated in fenshui fire oranges and browns.

Blue Room En-suite Main House (1)
The Blue room is a comfortable air-conditioned double room with full en-suite bathroom situate in the main house which means it does not have its own entrance. The room is equipped with tea/coffee tray, TV with M-Net and Satellite TV. A mini bar fridge only Stocked upon request. This room has a full en suite bathroom. Wireless internet access.

Duncan's Dormitory (1)
This is a very large two room unit which is aimed at accommodating larger groups who are wanting clean and comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price. This unit is perfectly suited to accommodate large families/school sporting groups/contract type workers/and any person who is prepared to share accommodation with others. This unit is almost like a backpacker type accommodation but with a few added luxuries like TV with M-Net and DStv, as well as an air-conditioner. Equipped for self-catering for eight persons, with large four plate stove and fridge. Microwave and urn. This unit has its own bathroom which has two shower cubicles as well as a basin and a toilet. Wireless internet.

Edwardian Room (1)
This is a very large comfortable room with twin beds. This room has a shared en suite shower basin and toilet. This room is equipped with tea/coffee tray, this room has a private seperate entrance. Fully air-conditioned, TV with M-Net and DStv and wireless internet access.

Freddie's Flophouse (1)

No6 W Crt Large 3 bedroom 2 Bathroom Flat Apartmen (1)
No 6 Waverley Court Mansions is a very large 3 Bedroomed flat, situated on the first floor of a block of flats, and is across the road from the B&B. This flat/apartment has 2 double bed bedrooms, one of which is air conditioned. And a smaller bedroom with a double Bunk Style bed. There is a fully equipped and functional kitchen with fridge stove microwave oven and all crockery and cutlery. There is also a lounge and dining room. There are 2 bathrooms, One with Bath Shower basin and toilet, and another with shower basin and toilet only. neither of these bathrooms are en suite. There is a TV in the lounge area but no Mnet or sattelite only SABC 1 2 3 4 . A double carport for vehicle parking is available, and parking is secured by means of remote operated gates . We must however mention that parking remains at your own risk.

Derek's Den (1)
This is a spacious air-conditioned double bedroom with an en-suite shower basin and toilet, has an open-plan mini self-catering kitchen. The kitchen has a two plate stove with mini oven, microwave, large fridge with freezer, compartment private entrance and secure parking with remote access.
