Description
The Trail House is a small, budget B&B tucked away at the foot of the Kogelberg Mountains overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Rod's Hiking Trail starts 50 m from the house and takes you through the heart of the Cape Floral Kingdom, home to one of the planet's most complex bio-diversities and a World Heritage Site, to the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens. Only an hours' drive from Cape Town and within walking distance of the village of Betty's Bay and her main beach, it is a perfect blend of two worlds.Prices including or excluding breakfast are available. The communal dining room is equipped with a fridge, microwave, fireplace, cutlery and crockery, toaster and more for basic self-catering. We are also within walking distance of the centre shop, deli/bakery, cafes, restaurants, pub, art gallery, hairdresser, beauty clinic, and bass lake.
Activities and attractions in and around Betty's Bay abound as far as the eye can see and your time, energy, and sense of adventure allows. A hiker's paradise with a host of marine, wildlife, and plant species are a few reasons why the area attracts nature lovers of all ages and caters for every mood.
